Conservation

People ask me why are you interested in conservation. Ultimately in survival of species some species will lose out and humans too will also give way to some other better adapted species in future.

My answer is very simple ..Yes some species will die in struggle for existence but we humans have speed ed up this process phenomenally. Its for our own good (probably not for our survival so much). We wish to enjoy watching and living with these animals thats why we now a days see so many programs on wildlife and animals. And on second thought we know we will die ultimately but does t prevent us in protecting ourself against diseases etc. If we have the right to get a pill for a disease why not give wildlife a chance. And according to me humans have scarred the planet like a bad infection driving extinct a host of species which is comparable only to mass extinctions! Well when probably humans will become extinct new species will again proliferate but the species lost may never come...When one species replaces other or push other to extinction we say its natural and we should not interfere. But when some conservationist try to protect and conserve a landscape i have seen people arguing that we have no right to take what ever these people enjoy or claim right to ..they can utilize it as they want it. We have too many morals which are different for other animals and for the "superior" humans.

Yes its for humans only as after humans go extinct life will go on and and new species will emerge to utilize the new niches vacated by humans. And everything we do is for ourself only even the fasting and generous things we do are to get back something.

Someone said that we have borrowed this earth from our children and perhaps we can do something so that they will be able to see and enjoy the wildlife which we are destroying.
